Synopsis

Continues the story of Touken Ranbu - Hanamaru

During 2205, a sage named Saniwa possesses the power to imbue lifeless objects with vitality. Meanwhile, sinister forces scheme to journey through time and alter the course of history. Opposing these threats are the Saniwa and their most powerful creations: ancient Japanese swords that take the form of handsome young men. Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru centers on Yamatonokami Yasusada, the cherished uchigatana once belonging to Souji Okita, as he experiences his first day at the Saniwa's fortress. There, he meets again his old friend Kashuu Kiyomitsu, and together they partake in the everyday adventures of their sword comrades. Whether taking part in lively snowball fights or greeting new arrivals at the stronghold, they treasure every instant. However, whenever called upon by the government, these swords stand always ready to fulfill their duty of safeguarding history.
