Synopsis
In a future where the seas around Onomichi, Hiroshima, are nearly empty of fish—except for whales—the Ministry of Fishery responds by building large experimental Universe Fish Tanks in space. This leads to the formation of the Onomichi Universe Fishery Union, which trains space fishermen. Thanks to a strong equal employment law for both genders, female fishermen are in high demand. The story follows six newly chosen female space fishermen as they grow and improve with the help of their fellow trainees and instructors.
