Continues the story of Tokyo Ghoul:re
Two years after the CCG's raid on Anteiku, Tokyo has changed under the organization's intensified watch. Despite these measures, ghouls continue to pose a severe danger, especially the terrorist faction Aogiri Tree, which has become more wary of the CCG's expanding influence. In response, the CCG created the Quinx Squad, an elite unit of humans surgically modified to possess ghoul abilities for hunting these threats. The squad is led by Haise Sasaki, a half-ghoul, half-human trainee of the legendary special class investigator Kishou Arima. Yet Haise harbors repressed memories that are slowly returning, offering flashes of his past self.

In the aftermath of the Tsukiyama family's destruction, the Commission of Counter Ghouls (CCG) escalates its efforts to eradicate every ghoul in Japan. Haise Sasaki, having left the Quinx Squad, accepts perilous missions for the CCG with a cold and unyielding determination. Yet beneath this emotionless facade, fragments of Ken Kaneki's memories begin to resurface, causing deep internal conflict that impacts those around him. The Quinx Squad finds itself struggling in Haise's absence, grappling with the void left by their former leader and mentor. Despite their personal desires, both the squad and Haise are compelled to continue their duties within the CCG. Simultaneously, Haise uncovers evidence of a clandestine group operating behind the CCG's scenes, while the Quinx Squad hears whispers suggesting corruption within the organization itself.
