Summary
Hinami Fueguchi is a young ghoul whose parents were both killed by ghoul investigators. Because the CCG currently holds insufficient information about her, they have not succeeded in eliminating her. Before her parents' deaths, she and her mother sought help from the owner of the Antique Cafe to acquire food. Hinami is a shy, childish girl with a gentle heart who is eager for knowledge and fond of reading to learn. She cares deeply for Touka and Kaneki, constantly expressing sadness and worry for their unhappiness. Even as a young child, Hinami is stronger than ordinary ghouls. While typical ghouls inherit the Kagune from only one parent, Hinami inherited both the Koukaku Kagune from her mother and the Rinkaku Kagune from her father. With the Koukaku on her shoulder blades and the Rinkaku emerging from her waist, she surpassed her parents to become strong enough to fend for herself. She possesses a great sense of smell that can detect enemies even in heavy rain, allowing her to sense something off about Kaneki when average ghouls might consider him normal. Her hearing is also exceptional, enabling her to overhear conversations inside buildings. Currently, she is living together with Touka Kirishima.
