Summary
Koutarou Amon is a twenty-six-year-old first-class police investigator who hunts Ghouls, operating under the alias Dove. Standing 191 cm tall and weighing 94 kg with type A blood, he arrived in the 20th ward alongside his mentor, Mado Kureo, to address local Ghoul incidents. Born on April 7, Amon possesses an unyielding sense of justice, firmly believing that exterminating Ghouls is a moral imperative. His crusade stems from his traumatic childhood as an orphan; he views the world as fundamentally broken due to Ghoul actions and seeks to restore it by eliminating them, thereby preventing other human children from suffering the same fate. He is dedicated to his work, often sacrificing personal time to further his goals. Amon wields a Quinque named Kura, which takes the form of a pole-arm equipped with a large cylindrical bludgeon. While he initially harbored a strong interest in the Ghouls known as Rabbit and Eyepatch, his rigid worldview began to fracture after being spared by Ken Kaneki. This encounter forced him to question the righteousness of his mission. In his personal life, Amon enjoys sweet food, training, and investigation, whereas he strongly dislikes spicy food.
