Summary
Juuzou Suzuya is a Rank 3 Ghoul Investigator who previously operated under the name Rei Suzuya. He serves as the partner of Yukinori Shinohara and is a young man with an androgynous appearance. His face and body are marked by stitches used for both medical repair and aesthetic fashion. His hair is held by a stitching string arranged in a Roman numeral 13 pattern, and his large pupils create an eerie, frightening impression. He wields the Quinque Scorpion 1/56, a Bikaku type, and 13's Jason, an Rinkaku type. Juuzou exhibits childish and careless behavior, showing no regard for others' property. He is enthusiastic and highly resourceful in his duties, displaying no qualms about killing ghouls. Following the two-year time skip in Tokyo Ghoul:re, his hair is dyed black, and he leads his own squad. In this later period, he demonstrates greater maturity and empathy toward ghouls, a stark contrast to his earlier self. He is also deeply concerned for the welfare of his CCG coworkers and shares a particularly close bond with Sasaki Haise.
