Summary
Shuu Tsukiyama, a twenty-one-year-old Social Welfare student at Haruna Gakuin University, is a notorious Gourmet ghoul with an S-Rating and a Koukaku Rc Type. Eccentric and opulent, he cultivates the facade of an intellectual gentleman to mask a disturbed, narcissistic nature. As a predator, he seeks to devour high-quality prey to proclaim himself the apex carnivore, often citing European literature and speaking in borrowed English, French, and Italian. He reacts with violent anger to any disrespect toward his culinary standards, such as shattering a teacup in front of Kaneki during a date when reminded of his past. He holds a deep grudge against Rize, whom he calls a 'pig,' because she once insulted his picky eating habits by suggesting they made him seem more human than ghoul. Currently, his obsession is fixed on the flesh and blood of Ken Kaneki.
