Summary
Ayato Kirishima, known by the alias Black Rabbit, is a Ghoul with Ukaku Rc Type abilities. He is the younger brother of Touka Kirishima, with whom he spent his early years in the 20th ward before leaving the district. Following his departure, he wandered through various wards of Tokyo, causing widespread chaos and destruction until his unique powers attracted the attention of Tatara. Consequently, Ayato joined the Aogiri Tree, where he currently serves as an Executive. Physically, Ayato stands 159 cm tall and weighs 49 kg, with a birthday on July 4 and blood type O. During the events of Tokyo Ghoul, he is 14-15 years old, and in Tokyo Ghoul:re, he is 17-18. His personality is characterized by arrogance and brashness, mirroring the hot-blooded attitude of his sister. He typically wears a scowl or a menacing smirk and often uses uncouth language. Ayato has a habit of kicking people for minor infractions, such as when Kaneki failed to use the proper honorific or when Kazuichi Banjou did not return his calls. He is harsher than Touka but considers himself surprisingly "softer" than his superiors in Aogiri. Driven by the belief that "the weak perish and the strong survive," a mindset shaped by the death of his parents, Ayato harbors deep resentment toward his father, Arata, for abandoning him and Touka. This hatred extends to Kaneki, whom he despises due to his resemblance to Arata. Despite his tough exterior, Ayato cares deeply for Touka. This is evident when he subdued her rather than letting her suffer a slow death at the hands of Yamori, and later when he took her alias, "Rabbit," to divert the CCG’s attention away from her. He also has a soft spot for rabbits and tropical fish, and enjoys brawls, while disliking Ghoul Investigators, humans, and the weak.
