Summary
Shikorae is a ghoul and an associate of the Clowns who previously belonged to Aogiri Tree. Born as Rio, he was an orphan raised in isolation by his older brother due to his unique abilities. Following the death of his brother at the hands of Shiki Kijima, Rio killed several investigators in an event known as the Jail incident. He was subsequently captured by Kijima and subjected to extensive torture during his imprisonment in Cochlea. Shikorae was among the prisoners liberated during the Second Cochlea Raid. After Aogiri Tree was destroyed, he joined fellow Cochlea escapee Roma Hoito.
