Continues the story of Slayers: The Book of Spells
This collection of three separate half-hour episodes focuses on Lina Inverse and her companion, Naga The Serpent, as they take on various jobs for quick cash, meals, and safety. In "The Scary Chimera Plan," they face a crazed sorcerer who seeks to create a monstrous being capable of casting spells by using Lina. Next, "Jeffry's Knighthood" has them hired by a worried mother to help her sword-challenged son earn a knighthood by aiding him in driving off marauding soldiers from the region. Finally, in "Mirror, Mirror," Lina and Naga chase a fugitive mage for a bounty after he discovers an ancient relic that can duplicate anything, even foes, resulting in chaos.

In the world of Slayers, the bold and highly skilled sorceress Lina Inverse travels across different regions, stealing treasure from any bandits she encounters. After she robs a group of thieves, they retaliate by setting an ambush in a forest. Just as Lina is about to easily wipe out her enemies, the swordsman Gourry Gabriev steps in. Mistaking Lina for a helpless maiden in distress, the kind-hearted but naive warrior offers his aid. After quickly defeating the thieves, the oblivious knight insists on escorting Lina to Atlas City. She is initially reluctant but eventually agrees. Unbeknownst to Lina, one of the items in her latest haul is a powerful magical artifact. A mysterious pair begins following her and her new companion, intending to seize the object for sinister purposes. This sets the stage for their journey, which may ultimately determine the fate of the world.
