Summary
Sylphiel serves as a priestess at the shrine dedicated to the Flare Dragon Ceifeed in Sairaag. In her youth, she removed the Bless Blade from the shrine and concealed it beneath the holy tree known as Flagoon, a decision that proved crucial when the sword was required to defeat Copy Rezo-Zanaffar. Following each destruction of Sairaag, she actively participates in the reconstruction efforts, dedicating her life to assisting others. She is an exceptionally talented cleric of white magic, surpassing other users such as Amelia Wil Tesla Saillune and Naga the Serpent in this discipline. However, her proficiency in other magical fields is poor, as she has not mastered the fundamentals of offensive spells like shamanistic or black magic. A notable example of her incompetence is her version of Flare Arrow, which resembles a small carrot rather than a proper spell. Her open attraction to Gourry causes discomfort for Lina.
