Akira is taken aback and dismisses the notion entirely. Later that night, his friend Aya realizes she left something at school and asks Akira to accompany her to retrieve it. He agrees, but once there, he is attacked by a shadow monster. Shirogane then persuades Akira that the harmony between the human realm and the shadow world has been thrown out of balance, and that Akira must transform into a "shin"—a being of the shadow world—to help set things right. Notably, the anime incorporates shonen-ai themes that are entirely absent from the manga.

In Amatsuki, Tokidoki Rikugou is a student who despises history and fails his Japanese History course. To improve his grade, his school forces him to attend a special lecture at a museum. The museum provides an immersive Edo Period exhibit known as the Edo Bakumatsu Walking Tour and Exhibition, intended to help students like Tokidoki comprehend the Tokugawa Shogunate. Having little knowledge of samurai life and the era, Tokidoki is startled by the superstitious nature of 1600s Japan. He initially dismisses the existence of gods and demons, but his disbelief shatters when a demon attacks him on a bridge. A mysterious swordsman named Kuchiha saves him and explains that Tokidoki is now trapped within the museum's simulation. Tokidoki also encounters Kon Shinonome, another swordsman already caught in the simulation. As Tokidoki grows accustomed to his new surroundings, he must help defend the village from demon attacks while simultaneously uncovering the secrets behind the simulation and the corporation that created it.

Conan and his friends receive an invitation to the inaugural event of a new concert hall the pianist constructed. The main highlight of the occasion is a concert showcasing the legendary Stradivarius violin, accompanied by a singer celebrated for their flawless sense of pitch.

Released as an April Fool's joke in 2007, this single-episode OVA is a spin-off from the game School Days by 0verflow. In the world of Nijuu Mensou, a celebrated gentleman thief known for executing flawless heists after notifying his targets in advance, his actions are governed by a strict ethical code that prohibits taking lives. Based on the CyberConnect2 hit game, this story is now being released as a CG movie. The movie follows the storyline of the .hack//G.U. game trilogy. The story focuses on Haseo, a player in the online MMORPG called The World:R2. He is initially depicted as a PKK (Player Killer Killer) known as the "Terror of Death" and was formerly a member of the now-disbanded Twilight Brigade guild. Haseo encounters Azure Kite, whom he believes to be Tri-Edge and blames for what happened to Shino, but he is hopelessly outmatched. Azure Kite easily defeats Haseo and Data Drains him, reducing his level from 133 to 1 and stripping him of all items, weapons, and member addresses. Haseo is left with a mystery regarding the nature of the Data Drain and why Azure Kite possesses such an ability. Eventually, Haseo gains the "Avatar" of Skeith, acquiring the ability to summon Skeith and wield his powers, including Data Drain. With Skeith as his strength, Haseo begins his quest to find a way to save Shino. He is seen searching for a PK (Player Killer) known as Tri-Edge, whose victims are supposedly unable to return to The World after being PKed. Haseo's friend, Shino, was attacked by Tri-Edge six months prior to the events of the game, and the player herself, Shino Nanao, was left in a coma.

The Mizuchi bloodline has been pursued by Yokai, or monsters, for ages. Toru and Noboru Takagami are descendants of this family, and on their grandmother's authority, they are entrusted with a secret tool to fight these creatures. That tool is Tenko Kugen, an fox deity able to assume the form of either a man or a woman at will. This playful god is accompanied by a shrine maiden, Ko, and the two move into the Takagami brothers' home. Life just got a lot more complicated.

Eventually, a new Network realm with stronger security measures was created. Known as the Meta Real Network, it is commonly referred to as "the Metal." Within the Metal, personal memory data is stored in protected virtual stand-alone organic cyber enclaves called bubble shells, and this system gradually became embedded in people's daily lives. However, over time, people learned to release and explode their instincts inside the secure environment of the Metal. These unleashed instincts caused each individual's consciousness to drown in the sea of information and become exposed to the pressures of desire. At the same time, norms and regulations continued to constrain their real-world existence. This created a strange friction between the two worlds, manifesting as aberrations beyond the bounds of imagination. Experts who ventured into the deep sea of the Metal to investigate and decode such aberrations were known as cyber divers. This is the story of a cyber diver named Masamichi Haru, who probes the incidents that lie between Reality and the Metal.

The story picks up right after the events of the first season, placing a stronger focus on delving deeper into the characters already introduced.

In the two Blu-ray Box sets of Soul Eater, there is additional bonus material that originally aired as part of a late-night double broadcast known as "Soul Eater Late Show." This version aired simultaneously with the main Monday 6:00 p.m. broadcast. The late-night show featured unique segments at the beginning and end of commercial breaks, and its previews for upcoming episodes differed from those in the regular edition.

As a string of seemingly unrelated incidents begins to uncover the truth behind Suzuki's death, Section Nine faces its most formidable challenge yet, one that could threaten its very survival.

In Rags Town—a Japanese location where discarded objects and people fleeing their pasts are left behind—the detective agency S&A Detectives operates under strict rules: no investigating personal histories and no forming close relationships. The story centers on Ayamana, an unconventional pair of detective apprentices, whose journey begins when Manami impulsively takes on a case, sparking a series of upheavals. As they work the case, they discover a woman with an abnormally high body temperature, being pursued by a group of armed women. They name her Sara and seek to uncover the mystery around her. At the same time, a rash of bizarre incidents occurs in which teenage girls in the town suddenly ignite and turn into glass. Even though the government tries to suppress these events, the detectives, along with an intrusive reporter and the local police, are determined to reveal the truth behind what is happening.

This special "back-side" (ura) episode, which ran alongside the main series on GyaO, provides an alternate perspective that puts the spotlight on the team's backstory rather than following Jil's adventures.

Detective Conan Magic File 2: Kudou Shinichi - The Case of the Mysterious Wall and the Black Lab was released exclusively at select Japanese convenience stores like 7-Eleven. It also came with pay-per-view broadcasts of earlier episodes, including the New York case. The first disc holds a side-story OVA tied to Movie 12, centering on Kudou Shinichi and providing background relevant to the next film. The second disc gathers those PPV episodes.

Drossel, a noble heiress belonging to the long-standing aristocratic House of Flügel, lives in a castle known as the Tower of Tempest. He holds deep reverence for Drossel’s late father and faithfully looks after her as her caretaker. Having grown up together, Drossel too cares for Gedächtnis. They spend their time engaging in supposedly intellectually stimulating conversations, which are occasionally disrupted by unexpected and bizarre events.

Yasuo, a ramen shop employee, is in a relationship with Yukiko, a news reporter. Money is tight until a customer forgets a green jacket, leading Yasuo to start pickpocketing in Tokyo's crowded areas to earn extra cash. With this money, he buys Yukiko an expensive ring, though she insists it wasn't necessary. Over time, Yasuo becomes more and more obsessed with the master thief Lupin, devouring every piece of media about him. At one point, he even teams up with Jigen briefly. When news of the Ice Cube diamond reaches him, Yasuo decides that stealing it would prove he is a genuine heir to Lupin's legacy.
