Synopsis
In "Kanokon: The Girl Who Cried Fox," Kouta finds himself caught up in supernatural romantic entanglements. Despite his bewilderment, he repeatedly draws the attention and affection of various animal spirits. Having grown up in a rural area, Kouta feels considerable unease as he moves to the city to live with his grandmother and begin attending a new high school. Hoping to make a good first impression, he instead ends up with Chizuru, an attractive fox spirit, clinging to him. However, she is not the only spirit showing interest; Nozomu, a wolf spirit, and others among the youkai community also have their sights set on the confused young man from the countryside.
