Synopsis

In "Kyouran Kazoku Nikki," Midarezaki Ouka, the chief of the Great Japanese Empire's Paranormal Phenomena Bureau of Measures, is highly experienced in dealing with the unusual. His life takes an unexpected turn when he catches a small cat girl stealing an apple from a shopping center. This incident completely changes his life's direction, plunging him into a new mission: the Warm Family Operation. Thousands of years ago, the god of destruction Enka was defeated. However, on its deathbed, it prophesied that its descendants would one day annihilate humanity. In future Japan, all possible descendants of Enka are found and forcibly assembled into a temporary family. Lion Tega, jellyfish Tsukika, oni Yuga, cross-dressing yakuza scion Kinka, and biological weapon Hyouka—along with their guardians Ouka and Kyuka (a ruler from the demon underworld)—live together in a chaotic household.
