Synopsis
Despite being just a teenager, Kurenai Shinkurou has already mastered an ancient martial art and built a solid reputation as a professional mediator, successfully handling numerous conflicts. That's quite an achievement for a sixteen-year-old still attending school, but even he has limits. Those limits may have been reached when his mentor and boss, Benika, responds to his plea for a tougher assignment by entrusting him with the protection of young Murasaki Kuhoin. Never mind that she's only seven years old—the fact that the very people Kurenai is supposed to shield her from are her own immensely wealthy and influential family guarantees this job will plunge straight into dangerous territory. Now the pressure mounts as Kurenai scrambles to extinguish one crisis after another, all while the secrets surrounding his young ward push everything toward a boiling point.
