Synopsis

Continues the story of Sailor Moon S

In Sailor Moon S, the Sailor Guardians, led by Sailor Moon, carry on their mission to defend Earth from various threats. But Sailor Mars's troubling visions and the sudden appearance of Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus herald the start of a fresh conflict. Neptune and Uranus are searching for three Talismans hidden inside individuals' Pure Heart Crystals. When united, these Talismans form the Holy Grail, a potent magical relic. Their objective is to acquire the Grail in order to save the world, yet the sinister Death Busters also desire its power for their own evil plans. Removing a Talisman from a Heart Crystal causes the person's death, a sacrifice Neptune and Uranus consider essential to secure the Grail. In contrast, Sailor Moon and her friends find this approach unacceptable. Despite their objections, they are forced to grapple with the question: can such a loss be justified to rescue all of humanity?

In this installment

In Sailor Moon SuperS, the spotlight shifts to Chibi-usa and the Sailor Guardians as they confront a new menace from the Dead Moon Circus. The antagonists seek to locate the Golden Dream Mirror to take over the world by stealing Dream Mirrors from unaware people and draining their energy. Chibi-usa forms a bond with Pegasus during this arc, and the Sailor Senshi also acquire enhanced abilities to fight against these fresh foes.
