Summary
PallaPalla, known as Para Para in the English dub, is the blue-haired, childlike member of the Quartet who specializes in ball-based attacks. Recognized as the Magician of Balancing Balls, she shares her color and Senshi counterpart, Sailor Mercury, with the water planet. In the manga, she is the second eldest sister, whereas in the anime, she is the youngest, a detail that mirrors the size of the asteroid Pallas. Her name is derived from the Greek goddess Pallas Athena, and the manga reveals her true identity as Sailor Pallas, one of the four protectors of Chibiusa. Creator Naoko Takeuchi categorized her as a bimbo, crybaby, and childish character. Throughout both versions, she frequently speaks in the third person. Despite her immature demeanor, she displays moments of cleverness and is considered dangerous by her peers. This is illustrated when she cures a doll’s toothache by ripping its head off. While she often summons ball-like lemures and prefers attacking groups rather than individuals, she occasionally utilizes dolls in her attacks, though this is less common than her use of balls.
