Synopsis

After a severe car accident, Joe Shimamura is abducted by unknown assailants and brought to the Black Ghost organization, which profits by fueling conflicts around the world. There, he is transformed into Cyborg 009, a superhuman artificial being with immense strength. Alongside other cyborgs, 009 rebels against their creators, who intended to deploy them as living weapons, and the group escapes in hopes of finding a peaceful life. However, Black Ghost refuses to abandon its pursuit, determined to reclaim these rogue superweapons and relentlessly hunting them down.
