Summary

Gilmore served as the lead scientist for the 00 Cyborg program, appearing outwardly as a dutiful employee while secretly harboring deep distrust toward Black Ghost’s intentions. In the 2001 series, his skepticism only solidified during the construction of 005, when superiors compelled him to install an inferior component to boost profits, resulting in a significantly reduced role in the creation of the remaining subjects. Following the completion of cybernetic enhancements for the initial nine 00 Cyborgs, he orchestrated his own capture by the cyborgs. Since then, he has acted as the team’s advisor and paternal figure, guiding their strategic planning and helping them navigate the complexities of their new mechanical forms.
