Geronimo Jr.

Summary

Known affectionately as G-Junior, this Native American character hails from an unspecified region of the southwestern United States. At twenty-six years old, he faced employment discrimination fueled by racial prejudice. When approached to play the role of a Native American chief in a sideshow, G-Junior violently rejected the offer, punching the owner to avoid perpetuating cultural stereotypes. Black Ghost agents, who overheard the incident, recruited him for a position far from his homeland, a deal he accepted after realizing he no longer had a place to return to. In the 2001 adaptation, his backstory differs slightly, depicting him as a freelance construction worker who was bribed into accepting a lucrative offer by agents in disguise. As the first cyborg created during Black Ghost’s renewed soldier program, designated as 005, he stands as the most physically powerful and largest of the 00 Cyborgs. His body features heavily armored skin, showcasing the technological advancements made since the creation of 004. Despite his immense strength, he is a humble and silent individual who holds a profound reverence for nature and life. It is suggested that he possesses a sixth sense, enabling him to detect shifts in the natural world and potentially read the thoughts of others.
