Summary

Originally from Russia, Ivan was born with a severe illness. His father, Gamo, a renowned brain surgeon driven mad by his search for a cure, forcibly subjected Ivan to numerous brain enhancement procedures. These experiments boosted his mental capacity far beyond that of a normal adult, actions taken against the wishes of Ivan’s mother, Erika, whom Gamo kills in the manga. Afterward, Ivan fell into the custody of Black Ghost, becoming the inaugural member of their 00-Cyborg program. His enhanced intellect grants him psychic abilities like telepathy, telekinesis, and extra-sensory perception. However, because he is still a baby and his body struggles to support such powers, he occasionally falls asleep at inopportune times. Ivan was among the 00 Cyborgs who were frozen in stasis until more advanced technology could be developed, and he serves as the leader for all the 00 Cyborgs.
