Synopsis

Continues the story of Digimon Adventure tri. Confession

In "Digimon Adventure tri.," the Chosen Children are struggling with the betrayal of Meicoomon, a digital partner who recently joined their group alongside her human partner, Meiko Mochizuki. Koushirou Izumi is determined to uncover the reason behind Meicoomon's loss of control. Meanwhile, Takeru Takaishi notices that his Digimon partner, Patamon, is showing alarming symptoms similar to those seen in other infected Digimon like Meicoomon. Unexpectedly, the Chosen Children receive a critical warning from Homeostasis, a mysterious entity that reveals the imminent danger threatening both the human world and the Digital World, the realm of the Digimon. Homeostasis intends to execute a "Reboot" to eliminate the digital infection by resetting all data in the Digital World. While this action will remove the infection, it will also erase the memories of every Digimon, including those partnered with the Children. Can the Chosen Children stop Meicoomon's threat and prevent the Reboot, or is this the end of their adventure with their Digimon friends?

In this installment

The DigiDestined reunite with their Digimon partners in "Digimon Adventure tri. Loss," only to face a digital reset that erases the Digimon's memories of their human companions. The group struggles to rebuild these bonds, especially Sora Takenouchi, who meets resistance from Piyomon, now unable to recognize her. Tensions rise when hostile Digimon attacks split the team, separating the Chosen Children and their Digimon partners across the Digital World. Back in the real world, Daigo Nishijima of the Incorporated Administrative Agency discovers information about a new entity pursuing "Libra," which he believes is actually Meicoomon. Unlike other Digimon, Meicoomon retains her memories and remembers her partner, Meiko Mochizuki, who has ventured alone into the Digital World to find her. To uncover the forces behind the recent chaos, the Chosen Children must overcome the dangers of this newly formed realm and find a way back home.
