Summary

Tanemon initially digivolved into Palmon to shield Mimi from Kuwagamon, and later transformed into Togemon when Black-Gear-infected Monzaemon attacked in Toy Town. Although she and Mimi became close friends, Palmon frequently urged Mimi to value what she possessed. During the DigiDestined’s return to the Real World to stop Myotismon, Palmon digivolved into Lillymon after Mimi shed sincere tears for her father’s safety while he failed to trip DarkTyrannomon. This new form proved vital in battles against Myotismon, the Dark Masters, and Apocalymon. After defeating Piedmon and Apocalymon, Palmon fled into the forest to avoid saying goodbye to Mimi as the children departed. However, she eventually ran out of the woods to apologize and wave farewell. Reunited with Mimi a year later, Palmon lost her Ultimate form after Mimi sacrificed her Crest’s power to free the Sovereigns. Two years later, during the Digimon Emperor’s conquest, Palmon aided the new DigiDestined, saving Yolei, Hawkmon, and Mimi from Dark Ringed Gekomon and Otamamon in the Night Forest. She introduced them to American DigiDestined Michael and Betamon, and revealed that the mindless attacking Digimon were artificial creations from Control Spires. Palmon traveled to the Real World on Christmas Eve and Day to gather Digimon in America, receiving a power boost from an Azulongmon DigiCore that restored her Ultimate digivolution. She later sealed the Hikarigaoka Gate and fought in the final battle against MaloMyotismon. Her attacks include Poison Ivy, which entangles opponents in vine-like claws. Palmon can evolve into Togemon or Ponchomon (Champion), Lillymon or Lilimon (Ultimate), and Rosemon (Mega).
