Summary

Tailmon resembles a white Egyptian kitten, distinguished by oversized yellow and red gloves and black claws. While the English dub gives her a soft, drawling voice, the original Japanese version uses an older tone to reflect her status as an adult level Digimon, whereas her Plotmon form behaves more youthfully like other Child level Digimon. Her name derives from "gato," the word for cat in Spanish, Greek, and Portuguese. She first appeared in Digimon Adventure as a malicious Digimon serving Vamdemon. Originally separated from the other Chosen Digimon in her Digi-Egg stage, she was taken under Vamdemon’s protection after evolving into Plotmon. Plotmon later naturally evolved into Tailmon, becoming one of Vamdemon’s lieutenants. During this period, she developed a rivalry with PicoDevimon, another minion, as they competed for their master's approval. Her sole friend was Wizarmon, a Digimon she had previously assisted. Tailmon also bears red X-shaped scars on her body, inflicted by Vamdemon when he disapproved of her eyes.
