Synopsis
Continues the story of Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna
Tai is now a university student, living on his own, working hard at school and taking on part-time jobs every day, yet his future remains uncertain. Meanwhile, Matt and the others continue to handle Digimon-related incidents and help people alongside their partner Digimon. When an unprecedented phenomenon arises, the DigiDestined realize that as they grow older, their bond with their partner Digimon will eventually come to an end. A countdown timer activates on the Digivice, and they discover that the more they fight alongside their partner Digimon, the faster that bond deteriorates. Will they choose to fight for others and lose their partner? The moment to make that decision is rapidly approaching. There is only a short time left before the "chosen children" become adults. This marks the final adventure for Tai and Agumon.
In this installment
The year is 2012, and ten years have passed since the adventure in the Digital World. Daisuke Motomiya is now twenty, and little by little, both he and the other DigiDestined have been changing in their appearance and daily lives. Then one day, a giant Digitama suddenly materializes in the sky over Tokyo Tower. Daisuke and the others encounter a mysterious young man named Lui Ohwada, who says he is the first DigiDestined to have ever existed in the world.
