Summary

Yamato Ishida is a central figure among the original DigiDestined, beginning his journey as a reserved and secretive loner accompanied by his Digimon partner, Gabumon. He holds the distinction of being the bearer of the Crest of Friendship. His personal timeline spans from age seven during the first Digimon movie to age eleven in the original Digimon series, age fourteen in Digimon 02, and age seventeen in Digimon Tri. Born in 1988, Yamato shares his role as a chosen warrior with his younger brother, Takeru Takaishi, who is also one of the eight DigiDestined.
