Synopsis
In a world where hamburgers grow like rare flowers, ice cream forms massive mountains, and mac and cheese steams from volcanic craters, the land is brimming with incredible edible treasures. This period of gastronomic marvel is known as the Gourmet Age, a golden age for exploration. Regular folks and culinary masters alike dream of sampling and creating the finest meals, while brave explorers known as Gourmet Hunters commit their lives to finding the rarest and tastiest ingredients. One such hunter, Toriko, is distinguished by his zeal and exceptional skills, having identified 2% of all known ingredients. He sets off on a journey with his companion Komatsu, a master chef working at a top-tier hotel, to compile his Full Course Menu of Life. Yet, this quest is far from easy: securing the most luscious ingredients requires facing perilous beasts, dark cabals, and even the core elements of cuisine itself.
