Summary
As the President of the IGO, Ichiryū presents the visage of an elderly man characterized by dark skin, white hair, and a long white mustache. Although he has not retired, he appears to spend much of his time on vacation at a private island resort. He was formerly an immensely powerful Bishoku-ya and stands as one of the three disciples of the legendary Acacia, alongside Jirō and the head of the Bishoku-kai. Even in his advanced years, his strength remains formidable; he can defeat Toriko with ease and perform inhuman feats such as running across water. Ichiryū displays peculiar habits, including eating the cork from a liquor bottle and eagerly awaiting the names of dishes Toriko discovers. Additionally, he has been responsible for training all of the Four Heavenly Kings since they were children.
