Brunch, also known as the Tengu, is a genius chef and a notorious delinquent within the Gourmet World, often compared to Zebra in the Bishokuya sphere. Despite appearing only once in a Cooking Festival, he dominated the competition and currently ranks third in the IGO Chef Ranking, making him the third strongest chef globally. He hails from the Bewitching Food World and serves as the owner and head chef of his establishment, Tengu Castle. Physically, Brunch is a tall man with red skin and long white hair styled in a wild, bushy ponytail. His appearance is somewhat sinister, featuring fierce eyes, sharp teeth, and a notably long nose reminiscent of a Japanese Tengu. He wears a white chef's jacket over a black shirt and white pants, paired with one-tooth tengu-geta. A large mole or piercing adorns his forehead, while two small rectangular covers on his neck conceal battery slots, suggesting cybernetic implants. Personality-wise, Brunch is carefree and problematic, often viewed as weird by others. However, he respects food deeply, demonstrated when he carefully navigated around dishes on the Four Heavenly Kings' table and by his ability to hear the Voice of Ingredients. He developed a friendly rivalry with Komatsu after Zebra declined him as a partner and Brunch heard of Komatsu’s reputation. Brunch possesses the ability to generate and control massive amounts of electricity, powered by organs similar to an electric eel and cells that act as amplifier circuits. He can produce over 100,000 amperes at 100 million volts, rivaling natural lightning. His discharge takes only 0.1 seconds, making his attacks nearly unavoidable. He employs a two-step process for long-range attacks: creating a Stepped Leader path at Mach 600, followed by a Return Stroke traveling at Mach 30,000. This power is sufficient to incinerate Bishokukai Beasts and stun Elg. He can use electricity to enhance his speed and reactions to superhuman levels, allowing him to perceive most attacks as frozen. While he generates electricity naturally, he prefers using batteries inserted into his neck. His body can also convert various energy sources, including solar, wind, thermal, water, and kinetic energy from opponents, effectively turning him into a mobile power plant.
