Synopsis
In the series "Urusei Yatsura," the Oni—a group of aliens—threaten to attack Earth but instead propose a challenge: one selected human must touch the horns of Lum, the Oni leader's attractive daughter, in a game of tag. High school student Ataru Moroboshi, known for his lecherous behavior and bad luck, is chosen and given ten days to accomplish this seemingly impossible task due to Lum's supernatural abilities. Motivated by a marriage proposal from his childhood friend Shinobu Miyake, Ataru unexpectedly manages to grab Lum's bikini top before finally touching her horns. Despite achieving his goal, Lum misunderstands the situation and assumes Ataru intends to marry her, leading her to move into his house. Ataru now struggles to maintain his relationship with Shinobu while dealing with the persistent Lum. His ill-fated victory sets the stage for a series of chaotic events as he tries to navigate these challenges.
