Summary

Known universally as Ten, Jariten is the mischievous and sharp-tongued alien toddler cousin of Lum. As an oni, he possesses innate abilities such as flight and fire breathing, though his youth renders these powers clumsy and unreliable. Despite his diapers, Ten displays a shocking level of adult intelligence, manifesting in a peculiar preference for older women and a naive demeanor that contrasts with his bratty attitude. While he remains cute and diminutive around females, he becomes loud, pesky, and aggressive in the presence of men. Ten traveled to Earth to meet Lum’s new husband, only to be deeply disappointed by Ataru. Viewing him as unworthy of Lum due to his idiocy, Ten clashes constantly with Ataru and insists on living with them to keep a watchful eye on his new brother-in-law.
