Summary

Ran is Lum's closest friend from their childhood. Although she initially presents herself as a sweet and lovely redhead, she actually suffers from a violent split personality. Her unique ability allows her to drain a person's vitality through their mouth during a kiss, a power she can also reverse. In her youth, Ran frequently found herself in trouble or injured due to the carefree and irresponsible antics of Lum. She is deeply in love with Rei, who remains devoted to Lum, prompting Ran to travel to Earth with the intention of taking revenge on her former friend.
