In Clannad, high school student Tomoya Okazaki feels detached from his world, frequently skipping classes to wander aimlessly with his friend Youhei Sunohara. Although Tomoya initially rejects her offer of friendship, he grows accustomed to seeing her around the school and eventually accepts her company. He learns that Nagisa repeated a year due to a serious illness and harbors a dream to revive the school's drama club. With few other commitments, Tomoya joins her in this endeavor alongside four other girls. Through his interactions with them and his efforts to help them navigate their personal struggles, Tomoya begins to view life through a new lens, realizing that existence may not be as dull as he previously thought.

In late 1990s Japan, newspapers report a string of suicides following a disturbing pattern. A chilling detail stands out: every victim jumped from the Fujou building, a crumbling, abandoned skyscraper towering over the city. Shiki Ryougi, a cold-hearted girl living in an empty apartment, suspects these deaths have a supernatural cause. Shiki possesses a mystical ability and collaborates with Touko Aozaki, a detective skilled in making dolls and magic, along with Touko's assistant and friend, Mikiya Kokutou, to delve into the cases. As Shiki uncovers the enigmatic world around her, she works to unravel the sinister secrets concealed by the strange events.

Kaiji Itou is a drifter who routinely steals car emblems and slashes tires. One day, his usual habits are interrupted by a visit from a man in a trench coat. During their conversation, the visitor—who introduces himself as Endou—reveals himself to be a debt collector. He has come about an unpaid loan that Kaiji once co-signed for a coworker, Furuhata Takeshi. The original loan was 300,000 yen, but after Takeshi vanished, the debt fell onto Kaiji. Endou then explains a way to clear the compounded interest, which has ballooned to 3,850,000 yen: Kaiji must board a ship along with others in similar situations. On the ship, the debtors will gamble with borrowed money, with a few winning and the rest sinking deeper into debt, eventually forced into labor to repay what they owe. After some pressure, Kaiji agrees to join the voyage, hoping to wipe out his debt and even earn some extra cash.

In the turbulent Sengoku period of Japan, Kotarou, an orphaned boy accompanied by his dog Tobimaru, survives through petty theft among the locals. Unexpectedly, Kotarou finds himself targeted by Chinese assassins from the Ming Dynasty, despite his minor crimes. While seeking shelter, the two encounter Nanashi, a wandering ronin resting at a humble temple, just as Kotarou is attacked and Tobimaru is poisoned. Although Nanashi rescues the pair from their assailants, he shows no intention of aiding them further. However, when Kotarou proposes a deal involving a precious gem in exchange for protection, Nanashi reluctantly agrees, consenting only until Tobimaru recovers and they reach their intended destination. As the trio embarks on a dangerous journey, it becomes clear that their adventure is far from safe, as the Ming Dynasty has dispatched a formidable swordsman to capture Kotarou and fulfill a specific prophecy.

In Misaki City, beings from the Crimson Realm continue to infiltrate, draining human vitality. To counter this, Flame Hazes are tasked with rescuing individuals from existential annihilation. Despite her duty to protect humans, Shana, known as the "Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter," centers her attention on Yuuji Sakai, a teenager unwillingly caught in the conflict between Crimson Realm denizens and Flame Hazes. Since their first encounter, Shana has begun seeing Yuuji as more than just a companion. Yuuji wonders if Shana might have revealed her feelings to him, but her unpredictable nature leaves him uncertain. Their daily lives proceed as usual until a new student arrives at their school, bearing a strong resemblance to a past foe. With the Bal Masqué organization planning its next attack, Yuuji and Shana cannot avoid addressing their relationship. They must stay vigilant and investigate the mystery surrounding the precious object within Yuuji, the "Midnight Lost Child."

On Christmas Eve, Hiro Hirono has his bicycle stolen by a girl who is chasing a thief that snatched her purse. He pursues them, only to find the girl passed out and his bike wrecked. The girl, Miyako Miyamura, soon regains consciousness, and they start talking. Once he confirms she is all right, they wind up spending Christmas Eve together. Later, Hiro discovers that Miyako goes to the same school he does, and they begin to spend more and more time together, with Miyako developing feelings for Hiro. Kei Shindou—Hiro's childhood friend who has harbored a crush on him for a long time—starts to feel jealous, leading to a love triangle. The series also follows the story of Renji Asou. One day, he encounters Chihiro Shindou, Kei Shindou's twin sister, at an abandoned train station. Although she is very timid, they get along quite well and begin meeting at the same spot every day. However, Renji learns that Chihiro was in a car accident years ago and, as a result, suffers from a condition where her memory only lasts for 13 hours. Despite this, after discovering that Chihiro's dream is to write a novel, Renji resolves to help her achieve that dream while also trying to help her overcome the challenges posed by her condition.

Squad 10 is deployed to the human world to protect a royal convoy carrying the powerful "Ouin" relic. Captain Toushirou Hitsugaya and Lieutenant Rangiku Matsumoto stay watchful. A group of attackers suddenly strikes the convoy, steals the Ouin, and creates chaos. After a brief fight with one assailant, a troubled Hitsugaya chases after the fleeing thieves, leaving Matsumoto and the rest of the squad shocked. Following this, the Seireitei accuses Hitsugaya of abandoning his post and places Squad 10 under an indefinite lockdown. In the human world, Ichigo Kurosaki investigates a spiritual disturbance and encounters the injured Hitsugaya, only to be surprised when the captain suddenly runs off. After learning what happened, Ichigo, along with Rukia Kuchiki, Renji Abarai, and Matsumoto, sets out to clear Hitsugaya's name and uncover the truth behind the Ouin's theft. Meanwhile, a figure from Hitsugaya's past lingers in his mind as he pursues the real culprit.

In a future where humanity has depleted its fossil fuel reserves, leading to a major energy shortage, society turns to solar power as an alternative. The world realigns into three major factions: the Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations, the Advanced European Union, and the Human Reform League, each possessing a solar generator providing limitless energy. This situation devastates former fossil fuel exporters, sparking ongoing conflicts and wars over control of solar energy. Amid this turmoil, a mysterious paramilitary group called "Celestial Being" arises, committed to eradicating all warfare through armed intervention using advanced Mobile Suits known as Gundams. The narrative of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 follows Celestial Being's Gundam Meisters—Setsuna F. Seiei, Lockon Stratos, Allelujah Haptism, and Tieria Erde. These individuals are thrust into the violent confrontations among the three superpowers, each striving to achieve a peaceful world.

In Shugo Chara!, Amu Hinamori is a shy girl struggling to make friends because of rumors at school about her supposedly "cool and spicy" nature. She longs to reveal her authentic self to others. One morning, she discovers three elaborately adorned eggs in her bed. These "Heart Eggs" house "Guardian Characters," which embody a person's true self and aspirations. With the assistance of Ran, Miki, and Su, Amu can now display her genuine personality. However, this newfound ability does not come without its challenges. The emergence of Amu's Guardian Characters catches the attention of the Seiyo Elementary Guardians, a student council-like assembly where every member wields their own Guardian Character. Due to possessing multiple Characters, Amu is recruited as the Guardians' "Joker," with the duty of aiding them in locating corrupted Heart Eggs known as "X Eggs." As Amu integrates herself into the Guardians' quest, she delves deeper into understanding the enigmatic world of Guardian Characters, the origins of the X Eggs, and the secretive organization seemingly orchestrating these events.

In the quiet town of Sakuranomori, a close circle of childhood friends must come to terms with the painful separation when one of them, Sana Hidaka, moves away to the bustling city of Tokyo because of his parents' work. Sana says goodbye to his dear friends: the gentle Aoi Oribe, the energetic Wakatsuki twins Shuri and Shuusuke, and the bright Nanaka Yatsushiro. Third-grade teacher Aoki Daisuke never anticipated that his very first class would become one of the most challenging hurdles of his life. After making a poor first impression with the whole group, a single act of kindness immediately persuades one of his students, Rin Kokonoe, to set her sights on the unfortunate Aoki-sensei as her love interest. After departing from the Record Country, where the memory book was kept safe, Syaoran and his companions arrive in Tokyo Country. In this place, a fierce struggle for natural resources and survival is underway between opposing groups, turning the land into a battlefield soaked in blood. In "KimiKiss: Pure Rouge," Kouichi Sanada and Kazuki Aihara are startled by the unexpected return of their childhood friend, Mao Mizusawa, from France. When they discover that Mao will be staying temporarily with Kouichi’s family while her parents continue living overseas, Kouichi finds himself taken aback. As the three of them work through the intricacies of high school romantic entanglements, they offer each other steadfast encouragement through both the successes and struggles of love.

In "Bamboo Blade," Kojirou, the kendo instructor at Muroe High School, is grappling with money troubles. An opportunity to improve his situation appears when he discovers that defeating his senpai's team would win him and his club free meals for an entire year. The main challenge, though, lies in finding female students who possess the talent and willingness to join the kendo club.

In "Genshiken 2," the Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture, or Genshiken, is now led by the increasingly confident Sasahara. During the break, the otaku club experiences several changes, including the arrival of a new member, Ogiue, who openly criticizes otaku culture. Sasahara's plan to create a doujin circle and sell their fan-made works at the upcoming Comic Market starts to take shape, but the path is filled with unexpected obstacles, such as a growing interest in crossplay. At the same time, the club is buzzing with speculation about the developing relationship between Tanaka and Ohno.

In the wake of an asteroid impact that destroyed Pluto twenty years ago, the asteroid Thanatos has halted, posing a threat to Earth's future. The International Solarsystem Development Agency (ISDA) launches the "D-Project" to address this danger by creating a special weapon called the "Dragonaut," forged from a dragon egg found beneath the ocean. However, the ISDA discovers that Thanatos is not the only menace, as dragon-like beings begin appearing on Earth. Jin Kamishina, an 18-year-old orphan who lost his family in a shuttle accident two years earlier, becomes central to these events when he witnesses one of these creatures attack and kill someone. Jin is then chosen to pilot the Dragonaut and gets drawn into the mysteries surrounding the dragons. A girl named Toa saves him from a fall during a creature's assault and aids him on his journey. As they uncover more about the dragons' origins, Jin and Toa encounter both allies and enemies, strengthening their bond along the way.

In "Moyashimon," first-year university student Tadayasu Sawaki has an unusual gift: he can see microorganisms as tiny, cute chibi characters. These include everything from the fungus that causes athlete's foot to the yeast essential for making alcohol. While studying agriculture in Tokyo, his ability draws the attention of several professors, especially Professor Itsuki, who specializes in fermentation. At first, Sawaki isn't very invested in his studies, having entered an agricultural university without much passion. However, through his encounters with the odd professors and classmates, he begins to appreciate his talent and the microbes he observes. Even with his extraordinary vision, Sawaki feels fairly ordinary among the eccentric academic environment.

Yako Katsuragi is a celebrated high school detective renowned for her extraordinary skill in solving intricate cases and capturing criminals. Yet, the true force behind her achievements is her assistant, Neuro Nougami. Neuro is no ordinary human; he is a demon who entered the human world after exhausting all mysteries in the demon realm, seeking fresh challenges. By feeding on the negative energy emitted by humans during criminal acts, Neuro uses Yako as a cover to satisfy his appetite without drawing attention. As part of their arrangement, Neuro agrees to help Yako uncover the truth behind her father's death. Together, they tackle case after case, carefully managing Neuro's insatiable cravings while keeping his supernatural identity hidden.

The company recruits numerous magicians and other supernatural entities to deploy them for clients requiring magical aid. As the new leader, Itsuki is expected to be stern, authoritative, and dependable, yet a significant hurdle remains: he is a coward. Furthermore, operating a successful business demands building strong connections with his staff, a task made considerably harder by his own personality. Beyond managing his internal team, Itsuki must also confront external forces that threaten the very existence of the family business.

Anxious about what lies ahead, she turns to her mentor Alicia Florence—one of the three great "Water Fairies" of Neo-Venezia—for advice. To Akari's surprise, Alicia opens up about her own past struggles, but also explains the steps she took to overcome her self-doubt about running the company and taking on an apprentice. Finding comfort in her teacher's words, Akari gets ready to face whatever challenges she must overcome on her journey toward making her dreams come true.

Deunan, a skilled female fighter, and Briareos, an experienced cyborg soldier, share a tight bond both in their personal lives and on the battlefield. Serving as part of E.S.W.A.T., the elite special forces unit protecting Olympus, they are often called upon to manage high-stakes emergencies. Their relationship is tested when Tereus, a prototype Bioroid, is assigned to their team.

In the bonus episode packaged with the Nintendo DS version of the game, Kamina, envious of how clean Simon's Lagann is, seeks out the enigmatic Chitori to have his own Gurren buffed. Without realizing her true intentions, Kamina waits excitedly for the outcome.

The immortal Sakura Trees still bloom, and D.C.II serves as a continuation of the original Da Capo game for the PS2. Taking place fifty-three years after the events of D.C. and D.C.S.S., the narrative is set on Hatsunejima with a largely new set of characters, though some may appear familiar to followers of the series. At the center of the story is the new lead, Yoshiyuki Sakurai, who resides next door to the Asakura sisters, Yume and Otome. They are the granddaughters of Junichi and Nemu from the first entry.

Night Wizard is the title bestowed upon those sworn to shield the world from encroaching darkness. Renji Hiiragi serves as one of these guardians, yet despite his constant deployment on dangerous missions, his true desire is simply to attend school and graduate. His latest assignment, however, is to protect Elis Shiho, a new transfer student at his academy. On her very first day, Elis is pulled into the Astronomy Club by Renji's childhood friend, Kureha Akabane. She soon discovers that she too possesses the potential to become a Night Wizard after acquiring one of the seven secret Jewels, the Jewel of Kindness. Now, alongside Renji and Kureha, Elis embarks on her new life and begins her battles as a Night Wizard.

In Sora Kajiwara's world, everything is full of charming and adorable scenes, especially cats, which she loves to sketch. Even though some moments escape her pencils, her sketchbook is always by her side. Driven by her passion for drawing, Sora joins the school's art club, despite being shy and having a childlike demeanor. Like Sora, each member of the art club has their own unique imagination and personality. As Sora spends more time with her new nakama, she gradually overcomes her shyness and explores the world more deeply, capturing every inspiration that fills her mind and heart in her sketches.

In "The Flowers of Hard Blood," middle schooler Shion Yasuoka is building a reputation as a promising professional shogi player while navigating the challenges of her life. Having lost her family and her voice due to trauma, Shion finds comfort and drive in her adoptive family and the shogi community. Her extraordinary skill catches the eye of Satoru Hani, a wealthy businessman and brother of the reigning "Meijin," Japan's top shogi champion. Satoru organizes an open tournament for both professional and amateur players, regardless of gender, and encourages Shion to enter. In the end, Kokonoe chooses to make something herself, and the three of them wind up spending the night at her house. Along the way, more is revealed about Usa's feelings for Reiji, Kagami's feelings for Kokonoe, and Kokonoe's feelings for Sensei. Episode 02: Kuro-chan, Shiro-chan (Kuro-chan to Shiro-chan) Kuro-chan tries to become friends with Shirai-sensei. Episode 03: A Child's Summer Time (Kodomo no Natsu Jikan) The girls, Aoki, and Houin travel to the countryside to visit Aoki's family.

In a world where magic and technology exist side by side, lone tactical sorcerer Rayotte Steinberg fights against transformed beings—creatures that were once human but changed after overusing forbidden magic. To keep his own humanity intact, he wears a "mold," a straitjacket, and wields a "staff," a powerful magical wand that can destroy any target. Every time Rayotte uses a spell, he edges closer to becoming a monster himself, yet not using magic means certain death. While enduring these brutal battles, he must also confront a terrible sin from his past.

Following a calm stretch after the events of the main series, King Yuuri Shibuya travels to check on the state of his kingdom. Along the way, he meets Sararegi, the ruler of Small Shimeron. Despite Sararegi's friendly demeanor, there appears to be a concealed motive. When Yuuri goes back to Shimaron to unwind and catch up with old companions, the self-proclaimed "king" of Little Shimaron appears and insists that the Maou follow him to his land. Afterwards, the actual king of Shimaron alerts Yuuri's sibling and friend, warning them about the possible danger facing Yuuri.

In "Franz Kafka's A Country Doctor," the protagonist, a country doctor consumed by anxiety, sets out on an urgent nighttime journey to attend to a sick child. The trip takes a surreal turn when he is whisked away instantaneously by supernatural horses. Burdened by his own worries and nursing a grudge against the townspeople, the doctor fails to notice a terrible, fatal wound on the patient. When he arrives, the villagers deride him, accusing him of falling short of their impossible demands. Ultimately, he is condemned to an endless return voyage, losing everything meaningful to him.

The Sablum Empire has been trying to conquer the kingdom of Windland for years, and now they are conspiring with the mercenaries Sister Hell and Darkness Knight to launch a fresh assault using powerful magical beings known as Angels. Hyaweh, a carefree yet skilled swordsman, and Priecia, who may be the lost princess of Windland, attend the Knight's Academy in Windland to refine their abilities in swordsmanship and magic. There, they encounter many friends and allies who can aid them in defending their homeland against the coming invasion.

In the near future, robots are commonplace laborers for their masters. Takaya Murase acquires a maid robot from the robotic doll distributor MaidWorks. Yui, ready to lead a typical existence cleaning, cooking, and serving her owner, is bought by Takaya. However, he has different intentions for her—such as outfitting her in dress-costumes inspired by his fantasies and beyond.

The four close friends continue their daily lives in the Hidamari apartment complex. The first special shows them spending a day at the pool. In the second special, Hiro finds a love letter in her locker, which makes her and the others wonder who wrote it.

Shizuru is a high school student who can see ghosts, while her younger sister Mizuki is haunted by those same apparitions. Their parents, frustrated by these abilities, decide to send the two sisters to live with their grandparents in the countryside. As Shizuru and Mizuki adjust to their new rural life, they begin to understand the importance of coexisting with nature and the spirits around them.

These DVD-exclusive specials are set at different points in the narrative: the first occurs between episodes 4 and 5 of the main series, and the second serves as a prologue, depicting the final day's events prior to the start of episode 1.

DVD episodes 23 and 24 of the series. The story comes from a seinen manga by Shinobu Ohtaka, serialized in Young Gangan. Koushi Inuzuka is a clever high school student with his goal set on becoming a public prosecutor. Unfortunately for this decent guy, he was born into a martial arts family whose head—his father—only knows how to communicate through violence. When Koushi was still a baby, his father made a deal with his biggest rival: Koushi would be married to the rival's daughter, and the joining of their two bloodlines would bring forth the strongest martial arts clan on Earth. Years later, Koushi is in high school, completely in the dark about the marriage arranged for him at birth. That's when Momoko Kuzuryuu bursts into his life: a sugar bomb, an airhead, a loli martial artist, and Koushi's self-proclaimed bride—the strongest on Earth, no less. She's eager to get intimate with him, but Koushi refuses flat out. He has no interest in being physical with someone who looks like she could be his little sister, and he hasn't the foggiest idea who she really is. This ancient civilization vanished long ago, with only a few remnants surviving as myths and legends known as UMAs (unidentified lifeforms). The UMAs begin merging with humans to search for the treasures of Mu—the powerful ooparts that would grant them the ability to revive the continent. After Subaru and War-Rock encounter several unusual enemies, they meet a professor named Doctor Orihime, who sends them on a quest to find the ooparts and stop the UMAs. By using the ooparts, Rockman gains the ability to take new forms, including Thunder Berserk, Fire Dinosaur, and Green Shinobi.

This movie presents an alternate take on the TV series, compiled from the two 2007 OVAs with revised pacing to streamline the story, plus an additional segment similar to a regular TV episode in which the characters are assigned to study flowers. The storyline diverges from the television series in several key ways, most notably the early death of Sirius, a different upbringing for Apollo, and a stronger emphasis on the events from twelve thousand years ago—especially the death of Apollonius and the role played by Reika's prior incarnation.
