Synopsis
Continues the story of Megaman Star Force
In the year 220X, global technology has progressed with radio-wave advancements, linking the world via the Wave Road. The story follows Subaru Hoshikawa, a fifth-grade student whose father perished in a space accident. Subaru encounters an alien radio-wave entity called War-Rock, who hails from a far-off FM planet. War-Rock asserts knowledge of Subaru's father, but numerous alien beings pursue War-Rock. The pair join forces and combine to become Rockman, a radio-wave human able to navigate the Wave Road and fight against the radio-wave viruses and FMs that endanger Earth.
In this installment
The second series follows the events of the second video game, centering on the lost continent of Mu. This ancient civilization vanished long ago, with only a few remnants surviving as myths and legends known as UMAs (unidentified lifeforms). The UMAs begin merging with humans to search for the treasures of Mu—the powerful ooparts that would grant them the ability to revive the continent. After Subaru and War-Rock encounter several unusual enemies, they meet a professor named Doctor Orihime, who sends them on a quest to find the ooparts and stop the UMAs. By using the ooparts, Rockman gains the ability to take new forms, including Thunder Berserk, Fire Dinosaur, and Green Shinobi.
