Synopsis
In the wake of a catastrophic event on Kamioki Island five years ago that wiped out all human life, Mari Wakatake was the sole survivor—but the trauma left her with no memory of what happened. Now attending a remote girls' academy, Mari is unaware that hidden observers are watching her, waiting for her lost recollections to return. Buried deep in her subconscious is a chilling truth: while she is officially the only human survivor, she may not have been the only one to endure. When a being that looks like a girl arrives at Kaihou Academy, Mari feels an inexplicable connection to this mysterious figure, who seems to be her only chance to uncover the truth, even as she struggles to trust.
