Continues the story of Appleseed (Movie)
In a world devastated by endless conflict, the city of Olympus stands as an unlikely symbol of peace and order. This tranquility is largely upheld by the Bioroids, genetically engineered beings who lack natural reproduction and strong emotions. Deunan Knute, a seasoned warrior with extensive combat experience in the wastelands beyond Olympus, is contacted by Hitomi, an Olympus official, and recruited to join the city's security forces. Despite her initial doubts about such a peaceful place, Deunan's suspicions are validated when she uncovers a dangerous scheme aimed at destabilizing Olympus and threatening the Bioroids' survival.
In this installment
Deunan, a skilled female fighter, and Briareos, an experienced cyborg soldier, share a tight bond both in their personal lives and on the battlefield. Serving as part of E.S.W.A.T., the elite special forces unit protecting Olympus, they are often called upon to manage high-stakes emergencies. Their relationship is tested when Tereus, a prototype Bioroid, is assigned to their team.
