Miki, Kazuma

Personal Information

Kazuma Miki served as the Editor-in-Chief of Dengeki Bunko at ASCII Media Works (Kadokawa) before founding Straight Edge, a company he currently leads as a producer. Straight Edge specializes in talent management and the production of various content, including publications and anime. Miki joined the Dengeki Bunko editorial department in 2001, where he worked on Shakugan no Shana, and was appointed editor-in-chief in 2014. During his tenure, he edited major titles such as A Certain Magical Index, Sword Art Online, and The Irregular at Magic High School, while also serving as a producer on their respective anime adaptations. Kadokawa published his autobiographical book, Omoshirokereba Nandemo Ari: Hakkō Ruikei 6,000-man-bu ― Toaru Henshū no Life Work (If It's Interesting It Can Be Anything: 60 Million Copies in Print ― A Certain Editor's Life Work).
