Synopsis

Makoto Niwa meticulously records his daily experiences, grading his life as if it were a subject. When his parents relocate abroad, he moves to a new town to live with his aunt, hoping for a fresh start. However, his vision of a typical teenage life is shattered by the discovery of a previously unknown cousin, Erio Touwa. Upon meeting Erio, who is the same age but vastly different from him, Makoto finds her spending her days in a futon instead of attending school and declaring herself an alien. Her peculiar behavior and speech patterns quickly destroy Makoto’s dreams of a normal adolescence. As he encounters other unique girls in the town, Makoto faces the challenge of maintaining a positive outlook on his youth. He may discover, however, that an unconventional life can be surprisingly exhilarating.
