Doraemon (2005) is the latest anime adaptation of Fujiko Fujio's original manga. Doraemon, a cat-like robot from the 22nd century, travels to the present day to help Nobita, a clumsy and often struggling boy, improve his future. Nobita has a crush on Shizuka Minamoto and frequently clashes with Takeshi Goda and Suneo. Each episode features Doraemon lending Nobita a high-tech gadget to solve the immediate problem.

The third season of UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie does not follow a single overarching narrative like the second season's "Valkyrie Ghost" arc. To promote coexistence, human children study alongside humanoid paranormal entities. Shingo Ohashi develops romantic feelings for Hatoko "Petoko" Fujimura, a girl of mixed human and youkai ancestry.
