Synopsis

Is it fate or just an illusion? A wild ride of humor and bewilderment unfolds when Taishi, the ultimate otaku, pulls his friend Kazuki into the chaotic realm of ambition, rivalry, and romance—the world of doujinshi! The utterly clueless Kazuki must either adapt or fail when he is thrust directly into the middle of a massive comic convention. Surrounded by crowds of buyers, sellers, and cosplayers, Kazuki is about to undergo a trial by fire, all to guide him toward his true purpose: conquering the world through fan-made comics! Meanwhile, Kazuki's childhood friend Mizuki is determined to keep him from being torn away from his ordinary life! But can she resist the seductive pull of the new universe unfolding before Kazuki? Slowly but surely, Kazuki is slipping down the road to his destiny—and Taishi is pushing him every inch of the way!

In the distant reaches of Tokyo, an artificial island remains secluded from the usual commotion. Soon, this island of cold concrete will burst into a fiery celebration of manga. Individuals will converge to create, seek, and zealously embrace manga! This jubilant event honors those who have dedicated their youthful years to doujinshi. Welcome to Comic Party! Kazuki and Mizuki, college students deeply involved in the otaku lifestyle, are part of this gathering. Kazuki has grown more assured in his skills as a doujinshi artist, but will the numerous girls around him serve as a distraction or a catalyst for his success? Additionally, what are Taishi's ambitions for global dominance?
