Continues the story of Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki 3rd Season
Picking up right where the previous OVA series concluded, the enigmatic Lady Tokimi sends the warrior Z down to Earth to investigate Tenchi and the nature of his bond with Washu and Tsunami. Though Z receives orders not to lay a finger on Tenchi, he seems to harbor his own plans and quickly begins causing trouble for our protagonist. Around the same time, Tenchi's father and grandfather decide that the moment has come for Tenchi to delve deeper into his past and his Jurian heritage. Meanwhile, the arrival of two new female residents at the Masaki household looks set to shake up the established order and intensify the already fierce competition for Tenchi's divided heart.
In this installment
Following a revised conclusion to the Choubimaru incident, the guilty parties receive their penalties, and Misao unexpectedly proposes marriage to Mashisu. The proposal nearly falls through until Mihoshi and Misao's mother Mitoto intervenes, granting her and her family's blessing—much to the displeasure of former G.P. Marshall Minami Kuramitsu. Apart from that, daily life for the Masaki family continues as normal. However, when the topic of Tenchi's mother's death is raised, the revelation nearly creates a divide among Tenchi, his father, and his grandfather—a situation that only Tenchi's future mother-in-law Rea can resolve, along with uncovering the truth behind Noike's peculiar secret.
