Synopsis
In a world where vampires have thrived for ages by consuming human vitality under the cover of darkness, Karin Maaka is a unique anomaly. Despite being part of a vampire lineage, Karin battles a rare ailment known as polycythemia, causing her to excessively produce blood. This condition leaves her feeling weak and dizzy, often leading to uncontrollable nosebleeds. To cope with this issue, Karin must transfer her excess blood to unwitting bystanders, a process that curiously invigorates and uplifts those affected. Her siblings, Anju, who is quiet but affectionate, and Ren, a flirtatious older brother, assist by erasing the memories of those who encounter Karin’s blood, ensuring no one uncovers their secret. However, things take a turn when a new classmate, Kenta Usui, starts to notice Karin’s unusual activities. Complicating matters, Karin discovers that her blood behaves differently in Kenta’s presence.
