Summary
As Karin’s younger sister, Anju holds a devotion to her sibling that borders on obsession, willing to do anything for her sake. Her vampiric nature remains largely dormant, leaving her sensitive to sunlight and restricting her school attendance to overcast days. Despite this incomplete awakening, she demonstrates exceptional control over bats. Anju is a reserved individual who speaks softly and favors Gothic Lolita fashion. She is often accompanied by Boogie-kun, a doll she carries around and holds dear among her extensive collection. While the anime establishes that her blood preference upon awakening is jealousy, the manga identifies it as loneliness.
