Saint Seiya Omega
聖闘士星矢Ω
Synopsis
Continues the story of Saint Seiya: The Heaven Chapter - Overture
Following the Saints' victory over Hades, Seiya finds himself incapacitated and wheelchair-bound, with little prospect of recovery. Athena's sibling, Artemis—the Virgin Goddess of the Moon and Apollo's twin—proposes a bargain: she will heal Seiya if he allows her to take control of the Sanctuary. Athena consents, and Artemis, alongside her Knights of the Sky, swiftly assumes control of the Sanctuary. Seiya and his fellow Bronze Saints now face the daunting challenge of reclaiming their sanctuary from Zeus's forces. However, the task is complicated by the defection of Bronze Saints Hydra Ichi and Unicorn Jabu, as well as Silver Saint Ophiuchus Shaina, who have sided with Artemis and Apollo.
In this installment
In the future, Mars, the god of war and guardian of the Red Planet, who was once sealed by Seiya, approaches his revival. Meanwhile, Saori Kido, also known as Athena, raises Kouga, a young boy whom Seiya saved. Kouga trains intensely every day, aiming to become a Saint to face the approaching crisis. Unaware of his fate, Kouga awakens the hidden power of his Cosmo, unfolding the story of a new Saint.
