Summary

Shiryuu is the Dragon Bronze Saint from Saint Seiya and later becomes a Gold Saint in Saint Seiya Omega. Born on October 4, he is characterized as the calmest and most collected among the five main protagonists. He possesses the greatest physical strength of the Bronze Saints, second perhaps only to Phoenix Ikki, a fact demonstrated by his ability to win numerous battles without wearing his Dragon Cloth. His training took place at the Five Old Peaks in China under the guidance of his mentor, the senior Gold Saint Libra Dohko. Shiryuu bears a large green and white dragon image on his back. While it resembles a tattoo, the series reveals it is actually linked to his guardian dragon star, appearing only as his cosmo rises. This mark serves as a vital indicator of his life force; if his life is in danger, the image begins to fade. Should it vanish completely, it signifies that his cosmo has reached zero, marking the approach of death.
