In ancient times, the goddess Athena was served by warriors known as Saints, who could harness the power of the cosmos. In the present day, a young man named Seiya undergoes training to become a Saint and earns the legendary Pegasus Cloth. Together with other Saints, each possessing their own distinctive Cloth, Seiya fights for Athena's mission.
