BLEACH
Since childhood, Ichigo Kurosaki has possessed the unusual ability to see ghosts, but this has not prevented him from living a normal life. One evening, upon returning home, he discovers Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper responsible for guiding spirits to the afterlife, in his room. Their conversation is abruptly interrupted by a Hollow—an evil spirit that consumes souls—which attacks them. Ichigo impulsively tries to fight the Hollow, but Rukia steps in to protect him from its counterattack. Injured and unable to continue, Rukia proposes a risky plan: transferring half of her Soul Reaper powers to Ichigo. He agrees, and unexpectedly, he ends up absorbing all of her power, enabling him to swiftly defeat the Hollow. Armed with his new Soul Reaper abilities, Ichigo takes on Rukia's duties of eliminating Hollows and protecting both living and dead souls. Joined by his friends Orihime Inoue and Yasutora Sado, who later develop their own spiritual powers, Ichigo soon realizes that the consequences of becoming a Soul Reaper and exploring the spirit realm are far greater than he initially imagined.
