Synopsis
Continues the story of Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma
Cooking with his father, Jōichirō, has been a constant in Sōma Yukihira's life. Working as a sous chef at Jōichirō's restaurant, Sōma honed his skills and crafted inventive dishes that thrilled customers. His ambition is to master his father's techniques and eventually take over the establishment, but his plans are upended when Jōichirō decides to shut down the restaurant and move to New York. Rather than follow his father, Sōma enrolls in the prestigious Tōtsuki Culinary Academy, an institution infamous for its brutal environment where only ten percent of students graduate. The school is renowned for the Shokugeki, intense cooking battles used to settle conflicts. Jōichirō challenges Sōma to prove himself by surviving the academy's grueling three-year program and earning a Tōtsuki degree. Facing a rigorous academic schedule and a fiercely competitive student body, Sōma must navigate this treacherous path to realize his dreams. However, even his natural talent may prove insufficient to reach the pinnacle of the culinary world.
