Summary
Hinako Inui is an alumnus of the 80th Generation at Tootsuki Academy, where she previously served as the second seat of the Elite Ten Council. She is the head chef and proprietor of the Japanese restaurant Kirinoya. Regarded as one of the respected legends among her former school and its alumni, she is part of the select few students who successfully graduated from the academy. True to her nickname, the Mist Empress, Inui places immense importance on the freshness and quality of her ingredients. During her time at the academy, she developed a unique ability to assess the quality of food merely by nibbling it before fully biting into her mouth. This allows her to determine whether a dish is good or bad simply by placing the food on her lips. Despite her mature, stern, and professional demeanor, Inui can be childish and indecisive when faced with confusing choices. She is often considered a joke among her peers, yet she frequently makes jokes to cheer up her fellow alumni. Her culinary approach favors washoku, the traditional style of Japanese cuisine.
