Summary
Although Mayumi Kurase is not enrolled at Tootsuki Culinary Academy, she holds a significant place in Souma’s life as one of his staunchest supporters. She enthusiastically backs his culinary creations, even enduring his bizarre experiments like Grilled Squid Tentacles Dressed in Peanut Butter, a dish that is hardly palatable. Due to her timid nature and tendency to become easily flustered, Mayumi struggles to voice her affection for Souma, worrying that he might not reciprocate or understand her feelings. This changes, however, when Souma returns during the Summer Break, offering her a renewed opportunity to express herself and make her feelings known to him.
